Since 1894, Christus Schumpert has provided quality healthcare to the people of Shreveport, Louisiana...and the surrounding region. Over 750 physicians work for the Christus Schumpert Health System, along with 3,000 employees and 600 volunteers.

Christus Schumpert Health System has four major healthcare facilities, and some smaller clinics, located in the Shreveport, Bossier City area. The Christus Schumpert system provides quality healthcare in many areas, including these specialized areas of expertise: Behavioral Medicine, Oncology, Cardiovascular Services, Neurological, Orthopedics, Primary Care Medicine, Women's Services, Children's Services, and Surgical Services.

The four major Christus Schumpert Health System facilities in Shreveport Bossier are: Christus Schumpert- St. Mary Place (A 601-bed facility with over 600 physicians covering all medical specialist)
Christus Schumpert- Line Avenue (home to Mid-South Orthopedics and Sports Medicine)
Christus Schumpert- Highland (160-bed facility that joined the Christus Schumpert Health System in 1999)
Christus Schumpert- Bossier (formerly Bossier Medical Center; became part of system in 1999)
