And furthermore, a recent ranking of the TOP 50 HOSPITALS IN AMERICA ranked Cedars-Sinai Medical Center the #2 hospital in the country. (Rankings are from Modern Maturity magazine, which is a publication of the American Association of Retired Persons).

Also, in the U.S. News and World Report (2004) issue that ranks "America's Best Hospitals", six different Cedars-Sinai departments received national acclaim. The departments and their national rankings are: Digestive Disorders- 19th best in the nation; Gynecology- 30th best; Heart and Heart Surgery- 14th best; Hormonal Disorders- 29th best; Orthopedics- 47th best; Respiratory Disorders- 34th best.

Founded in 1902, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is the largest non-profit hospital in the western United States. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has over 7700 dedicated employees, who do everything they can, to make sure that their patients receive the best care possible.
