The Medical Plaza, a six-story facility adjacent to the hospital, is devoted to ambulatory services and also houses 16 physicians' offices. Other services in the plaza include preoperative testing and education, patient registration, the Healthcare Resource Center, the Conference Center, pain management, and lab and outpatient surgery and testing services.
Some features of the programs and services provided at Cape Canaveral Hospital are: its level II Emergency Department including special areas for pediatric treatment, obstetrics and gynecology, minor injury care, an isolation room, and a helipad for patient transfers.
