Florida Medical Center

Nursing Jobs By State

Florida Medical Center is a 459-bed acute care medical/surgical hospital, located in the heart of West Broward County, FL. It has a staff of more than 500 physicians and 1,100 that provide a broad spectrum of medical services. It is also a member of Tenet, a healthcare group that operates 71 acute care hospitals in 13 states, adding up to more than 71,000 employees and 18,137 licensed beds. This company is dedicated to providing quality, innovative care to the communities that it serves.

Florida Medical Center offers the services of the Joint Replacement Institute (including hip and knee replacement surgery), the Breast Center (offering mammograms, ABBIA breast biopsy, etc), the Wound Healing Institute (including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for wound tissues, etc), the Heart Institute of Florida (featuring Coronary Care Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, etc), Psychiatry and Behavioral Health (with specialized professionals for Adult, Adolescent and Children services), the Rehabilitation Institute of Florida (treating neurological disorders, sport injuries, work injuries, etc) and the Surgical Weight Reduction Program (performing the "Roux-En-Y" Gastric Bypass).

Working at Florida Medical Center means that you will be working not only for one of the leaders in healthcare services in Florida, but also that you will be part of strong, well established company that has presence in many states in the U.S. Of course, all of this means little if there are no positions available. In that case, you will be pleased to know that at the moment of this writing, several positions are available for nurses in different departments. The information regarding the job description and qualifications is there for you to check out before you apply online. As far as the wages and benefits; however, you don't have that detailed information: the "Careers" link only provides information about the benefits that may not apply for all the locations and/or positions, such as 401(k) savings plan, insurance, etc. So, if you don't mind being a little in the dark about such things, then go ahead and check Florida Medical Center out!
