The Glendale Adventist Medical Center was founded in 1905 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church; the hospital was created with the mission of sharing God?s love with its community by promoting healing and wellness for the whole person.

The services in the center are several, such as, Behavioral Medicine, Child Care Connections, Diabetes Care, Emergency, Heart and Vascular Services, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Neuroscience, Occupational Medicine; along with Rehabilitation, Sleep Disorders Center, Surgery and Women?s Services. All those services are supported by state-of-the-art equipments like Spiral CT Scanner, or Image Checker.
The Glendale Adventist Medical Center delivers care in a way that respects the privacy and humanity of the patients and besides the excellence in medical services it provides the community with education programs and support groups that allow residents of the community to learn about different diseases; in addition the center provides medical attention to those kids who their families can not afford health care.
The center has nearly 2,000 employees, 650 physicians, and more than 400 volunteers, who provide health in body, mind and spirit.
