The Glendale Adventist Medical Center was founded in 1905 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church; the hospital was created with the mission of sharing God's love with its community by promoting healing and wellness for the whole person.

Through the years the hospital has been working with the latest technology and equipments to provide the patients the best recovery in a compassionate environment. The balance between the technology and the high quality of the human staff has made of the Glendale Center one of the most recognized hospitals in the area.

The services in the center are several, such as, Behavioral Medicine, Child Care Connections, Diabetes Care, Emergency, Heart and Vascular Services, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Neuroscience, Occupational Medicine; along with Rehabilitation, Sleep Disorders Center, Surgery and Women's Services. All those services are supported by state-of-the-art equipments like Spiral CT Scanner, or Image Checker.

The Glendale Adventist Medical Center delivers care in a way that respects the privacy and humanity of the patients and besides the excellence in medical services it provides the community with education programs and support groups that allow residents of the community to learn about different diseases; in addition the center provides medical attention to those kids who their families can not afford health care.

The center has nearly 2,000 employees, 650 physicians, and more than 400 volunteers, who provide health in body, mind and spirit. In addition, Glendale Medical Center has the policy of providing personalized care in a community with several ethnic and cultural differences; therefore, the center has services of translation, spiritual care and other needs that patients may have.
