The mission of Brotman Medical Center is to deliver innovative, quality health care to patients and their families in an environment of compassion, respect, patient safety, education, and fiscal responsibility. Brotman provides a wide spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services as well as rehabilitation, psychiatric care and chemical dependency. It also has a 24 hour emergency room staffed by board certified emergency physicians and nurse specialists.
Some of the features of Brotman Medical Center's health care services are: Bloodless Medicine and Surgery for those who hold personal or religious convictions against receiving blood, there is the option of transfusion-free or "bloodless medicine". The Cardiac services at Brotman offer diagnostic and treatment services for patients with peripheral vascular disease (PVD) and/or coronary heart disease (CHD). Pulmonary Services provide a comprehensive program, including home care, sleep studies and CPR classes, and are enhanced by sophisticated equipment. The focus of Acute Medical Rehabilitation at Brotman Medical Center is on achieving or restoring basic skills that may allow independent living and working.
