The Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital (MHMCH) is another member of the Memorial Hermann Health System which is a non profit and community owned system which fundamental goal is to improve the health of the residents of Southeast Texas region. This system is composed by 9 acute care hospitals, 3 long term acute care hospitals, 3 specialty care facilities, 19 regional affiliates, 3 managed acute care facilities, 1 retirement-nursing center and 1 home health agency. Those health care centers are operated by 16,500 employees and a total of 3,188 beds.

The MHMCH has been serving patients for more than 35 years and is operated by a dedicated team of physicians, chaplains, nurses and support staff as well as a big group of volunteers who provide exceptional health care services to all the residents of West Houston.
One of the most extraordinary services that this hospital has is the Heart and Vascular Institute where almost 95% of the open heart surgeries are performed off pump, giving as a result excellent outcomes and faster recovery times of the patients treated. This institute is planned to expand and include interventional cardiology and cardiovascular surgery services, digital imaging and digital characterization labs. Other services given by the hospital are: urology, diabetes treatment, women's health and much more.
