Hunt Memorial Hospital District (HMHD) was founded to satisfy the medical needs of the residents from Hunt County, Texas. The hospital was founded in 1950 by the name The Greenville Hospital and through the following years it had several improvements in its services and building. In 1981, it was renamed as the Hunt Memorial Hospital; however, the expansion program continues until our days. Some of the clinics that form this medical district are the Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce, Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville, the Professional Building and Outpatient Services Center, Presbyterian Occupational Health Network, and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center.
This medical district has the commitment of being continually evaluating health and medical services to answer in the best way possible all the needs of the community. This evaluations and improvements are realized in the services of prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
The hospital offers flexible schedules of visit, calls and emails to patients, a translator in cases in which patients are not able to have an effective communication in English, Emergency Room, Diabetes Self Management Center and Diabetes Group Support such as, The Sleep Disorder Clinic, that has the solutions for patients with insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy or restless legs syndrome, likewise, Diagnostic Imaging, Home Health, Cardiac Rehab, Occupational Health, support groups, and class instruction that allow the patients, family and general community answer to their doubts about health problems.
Hunt Memorial Hospital District has eight floors fully and comfortable equipped in where patients and family will find the attention and cares of a staff with high values and highly trained to meet the diagnostic and treatment needs of every and each patient.
