Concho County Hospital

Nursing Jobs By State

In 2004, the Concho County Hospital almost had to close its doors. A series of tough choices, including staff cuts, the tax increase that withstood a challenge and the voluntary waiving of some employee benefits have helped save the hospital. In the March 6 edition of Modern Healthcare, a weekly, news-driven publication that reports relevant health-care events and trends as they happen, the Concho County Hospital was named the 21st-most profitable critical-access hospital in the nation. The Lillian M. Hudspeth Memorial Hospital in Sonora ranked fifth, and the McCamey Hospital in McCamey ranked sixth. The health center was categorized derived from 2004 Medicare cost details information.

The health center is located in Eden, 44 miles southeast of San Angelo. It has a constant cash flow. The hospital region covered the complete province, and the hospital also administers a health center in Menard. The health center provides work for 22 permanent workers, in addition to three physicians and doctors' assistant. Human resources got their healthcare advantages back over the summer. They are licensed to receive cost-based compensation from Medicare.

The Concho County Hospital offers services consisting of general medical and surgical care, emergency department, trauma center, inpatient, outpatient, and community outreach. Inpatient services include and infection isolation room. Outpatient services include certified trauma center, home health services, and physical rehabilitation. Concho County Hospital also offers health fairs for community outreach.
