The Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center (CFMC) has been committed with the residents of the city of Houston living longer and healthier. Its highly skilled personnel and associated physicians provide their experience, technology and personalized attention to the residents of the community of Northwest Houston. This medical center sums a total of 146 beds and offers a big variety of services and specialties like medicine centers, sport centers as well as pediatric centers, an emergency department which works 24 hours all the days of the year, home health program, surgery services including weight loss surgery and a health center for the women.
The staff of the CFMC is dedicated to maintain their active role promoting the health among the residents of Northwest Houston. That is why every year the hospital supports several community screenings and corporate health fairs. With the help of the Tenet Healthcare Foundation, several donations have been made in name of the hospital to other local charities such like the Cy Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce, the Cypress Creek EMS, the Cy Fair Division of the American Heart Association and the Cypress Fairbanks Educational Foundation.
Due to the commitment of the CFMC with the community, the hospital decided to create a Tenet Healthcare scholarship. Through the Tenet foundation the CFMC donated funds to the Cypress Fairbanks Educational Foundation and the North Harris Montgomery Community College District to offer scholarships to people looking for education in the medical field.
