Paris Regional Medical Center has been accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and licensed by the Texas Department of Health. Since 1911, when they began their operations, they have been committed to counting on the most trained and caring physicians. The beginnings of this organization date back from 1896 when the Sisters of Mercy managed a program pf education at St. Patrick's Academy. This facility was, later on, acquired by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word who reopened in 1911.
