Southern Assisted Living is the main provider of housing, memory-impairment and assisted living services. The company has a network of communities in Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Each day, the residents of Southern Assisted Living receive assistance and individualized personal care along with the following services: maintenance of building and grounds, housekeeping and personal laundry services, utilities (excluding telephone and cable TV), coordination with the personal physicians of the residents, local scheduled transportation, leisure and recreational activity programs, three nutritious meals per day, dining room, devotional services, social and educational services, medication management and Personalized Care Plans that meet the needs of every resident. The bedrooms or studio apartments have wireless emergency call system, private bathrooms with showers and kitchenettes. The apartments can be shared or private.
