Northwest Medical Center was established in 1957. It is focused on providing and keeping good health for all the community. The original facility was built with with federal fund. All the projects of the center were possible due to the sense of charity of the community. Some of those projects were the expansion of the Skilled Nursing Facility and the renovation of all the rooms of its patients. It has three facilities: Grant City Clinic, Stanberry Rural Health Clinic and Northwest Medical Center Home Health Agency.
Northwest Medical Center is committed to ensure all patients with the safest high quality service area in America. Its board is composed of Richard Cummins, Ron Defenbaugh, Mary Ewing, JoAnn Gibbany, Kevin Harding, Norma Hill, Ed Manring, Robert Miller, Serena Naylor, Robert Smith, Connie Worden, and Bob Youngclaus. It is licensed to have a 45 bed facility, provide Home Health service, ICU/CCU and a Swing Bed Unit.
Northwest Medical Center offers services such as: ambulatory surgery, anesthesia, back rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac stress testing, community health education, ct scan, dietary counseling, registered dietician, echocardiography, electrocardiography, employee drug screening, endoscopy, general surgery, laboratory testing, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, occupational therapy, orthopedics, pharmacy, physical therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, radiology, respiratory therapy, social services, speech therapy, stress testing, ultrasound and workmen compensation rehabilitation.
