Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic computer keyboard functions is preferred.

Courteous and professional interpersonal skills.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Completion of CNA program preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistant

CPR certification required.
Job Description: The nursing Assistant works in collaboration with the RN as a partner in the care, treatment and education of patients. The Nursing Assistant recognizes the needs and behaviors of patients of various age groups and provides care in a matter that is age appropriate. The Nursing Assistant strives for patient centered care which assures the patient is treated holistically with dignity and respect.
Accountabilities:
- Participates in the Admission/Discharge Transfer process of all patients under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, or designee.
- Provides general patient care duties that are specific to the patient population served, under the direction of the Team Leader.
- Performs tasks related to meeting the nutritional needs of the patient.
- Contributes to the patient plan of care through the documentation and/or communication of patient needs, problems and outcomes to other health care providers.
- Performs tasks related to the integrity of patient care standards and efficient unit operations.
