Many certificate programs that we offer can be completed in as little as 48 weeks! Associate's Degree programs take a bit longer, but they provide a superior foundation for your success in the chosen field of study. Practical Nursing Certificate The Practical Nursing program is a credit-bearing, college-level program that prepares its graduates for licensure as a practical nurse (LPN) in the state of New York and subsequent practice of the profession of practical nursing. The graduates of the program will be well prepared for successful passing of the NCLEX-PN examination, obtaining NYS licensure as LPNs, and subsequent employment in the field, as well as for future advancement to two-year professional nursing degrees and four-year baccalaureate programs in nursing, health sciences, and related fields.

Mildred Elley's Albany, New York Campus is approved by the New York State Board of Regents to offer the Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree. Mildred Elley is also approved by the New York State Education Department (SED), Veterans of the Armed Forces, and the Office of Vocational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID). Mildred Elley is also registered with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Office.
