Titus Regional Medical Center opened back in 1953, and you can say that it has grown considerably in those 50+ years. Back in '53, Titus Regional Medical Center (which is in Mt. Pleasant, Texas) opened as a 32-bed facility. At that time, the hospital had six physicians on staff, and 30 employees. Today, Titus Regional Medical Center has a staff of 45 physicians and over 750 employees. Also, now Titus Regional Medical Center is a 165-bed facility which provides medical care to the people in Mt. Pleasant and surrounding Northeast Texas communities.
