Located just outside of Los Angeles, CA- Very Close to the Ocean 

Emergency Department:
Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates plan of care with the health care team. Assumes leadership role for unit personnel to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities. Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. Employees must successfully pass clinical math exam prior to orientation to unit. In addition to these major responsibilities, the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.
 
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from accredited school of nursing. Current California Registered Nurse license or Interim permit. Current approved health care provider CPR certification. ACLS certification required (may be obtained within six (6) months of hire). Experience: Registered Nurse Graduate with 6 months to one (1) year of work experience. New graduates without acute care experience will be considered on an individual basis.

• Multiple full time staff nurse positions in Los Angeles and surrounding areas of Southern California  
• New Grads and International Candidates currently in the United States are welcome to apply. The hospital will train for specialty areas Telemetry, ICU and Med-Surg. 
• For L&D, Peds, NICU and PICU  hospital is seeking applicants with prior experience only, however cross training is available. 
• New Grad Orientation and Training - Excellent
• Sign on Bonus - $5000
• Rates- Based on Experience
• Shift - 12 hours Nights (some day shifts available, however very limited)
• Night Shift Differential: $3 per hour.
• Registry: In house registry exists to pick up extra shifts, time and one half paid for work beyond 36 hrs per week.

  These positions are full time (Days). Several areas of expertise are needed:
• Wound Care,  Med/Surg,  Critical care,  Pediatrics

Job Requirements:
 
Current CA RN License. Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
 
Minimum 5 years clinical experience (critical care preferred). Excellent written and verbal  communication skills. Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards and Core Measures requirements. Ability to collect, aggregate, analyze and submit data. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Previous pediatric acute care nursing experience preferred. Current recognition BLS Health care Provider required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current CA RN or IP license. PALS within 6 months of hire for pediatrics and PICU.

This hospital is a 202-bed, tertiary-level hospital that offers nearly every pediatric specialty and provides a full spectrum of healthcare services ranging from prevention programs for healthy children to the most advanced medical care for those with serious illnesses
