Wyckoff Heights Medical Center

Nursing Jobs By State

Wyckoff Heights Medical Center first started serving the community of Brooklyn, NY, in 1889. It was known back then as the ?German Hospital of Brooklyn?, since its inception was the result of the efforts of a German immigrants organization, but received the name of Wyckoff Heights Hospital in 1918. Over the next decades, the hospital would experience constant expansions and improvements, and in 1990, having created a network of regional medical centers, it became Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, a corporate member of the New York Presbyterian Health Care System, Inc.

The center is a 350-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and licensed by the New York State Department of Health and has a staff of over 1,700 people. Wyckoff Heights Medical Center provides a wide spectrum of services: emergency, surgery, gynecology, microsurgery, dermatology, radiology, urology, respiratory therapy, cosmetic surgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics, physical therapy, oncology, nuclear medicine, genetics and neonatology, among many others.

If you thought this could be a nice place for you to practice your nursing career, it would be better that you start looking elsewhere: there are no positions whatsoever available at this time, in nursing or any other area for that matter. The website states that candidates can apply online, but since there are no openings as of today, the only other choice is to contact the human resources department at the phone number provided on the website.
