Opened in 1986, the hospital features 185 licensed beds and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The services offered at West Boca Medical Center are grouped into several main areas: 24-hour emergency care, surgical services (including general, vascular, orthopedic and cosmetic surgery, among others), rehabilitation (including physical, occupational and speech therapy), pediatric (including a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit Level II & III), maternity (including birth care classes, etc), cystic fibrosis clinic, diabetes outpatient program (including nutritional counseling, oral medications, etc), sleep diagnostic center (fully prepared to treat disorders such as sleep apnea, snoring, etc) and Tenet Care (a wide range of outpatient services, including laboratory testing, CT scan, ultrasound, etc).
