Providence Centralia Hospital is a 191-bed facility which mission is to continue the ministry of Jesus through health care services specially designed to meet the needs of those people who are vulnerable and poor. This non-profit and community-based hospital operates in two different campuses in Chehalis and Centralia. Thanks to this center, Lewis County and surrounding areas have now a place where they can get the best service in an environment of justice, excellence, stewardship, compassion, and respect with the best technology.

During these years, Providence Centralia Hospital has been working very hard in order to build more facilities to offer more services for the entire community. The center located in Chehalis was built in 1927, a year later that the Centralia General Hospital and was originally named St. Helen Hospital. After 1957, when the Stewards Foundation bought Centralia General Hospital, they started purchasing more sophisticated equipment and the services offered within that facility. The goal was to improve the quality of the facilities and, therefore, the quality of the service. In 1988, Providence Centralia Hospital was created from the joint of St. Helen Hospital and Centralia General Hospital.
