Over seventy years ago, a creative thinker's team of six Sisters was propelled to Long Beach from Texas with a collective objective of meeting the medical requirements of the region. Their pilgrimage of considerate care was connected by most important medical doctors who were motivated to perform medicine of a superior calling. In concert, they placed the foundation stone of the institution of healing and hope that has turned out to be St. Mary Medical Center. These days, the motivation that began as a minute, 70-bed medical center has prolonged to a 539-bed health center, providing an all-inclusive collection of winning-prices, quality medical services for all health care requirements.
Saint Mary's untiring dedication to "state-of-the-heart" curative has constantly been renowned by professionals and patients comparable. Preferred for its status for medical superiority, Saint Mary has served as the district instruction center for the high-status UCLA School of Medicine since the seventies. Fellows and residents care for patients under the leadership of the health center's full-time attending and faculty staff medical doctors, several of whom have health professorships at UCLA.
