Located in Central New York, the Crouse Hospital has more than a century of providing excellent health cares to the community. It started in1887 as Syracuse Women's Hospital and Training School. In that time, the institution were the only hospital in the area that would admit women and children. According to the growing needs of the population the hospital had several changes, and it was in 1996 that it became the Crouse Hospital.

Daily, the staff of the Crouse Hospital delivers 11 babies, performs 55 surgeries and other procedures in the One Day Surgery Centers, treats 80 patients at the emergency department, provides 165 service units to people suffering the effects of drug and alcohol dependencies, performs 1,700 laboratory procedures and tests, and cares for 61 patients who need social work services; those are a few examples of the extensive work that has made of the Crouse Hospital one of the best medical institutions of the Syracuse, New York.
