For over half a century now, Forks Community Hospital has been providing its high-quality, affordable services to the citizens of Clallam County, WA. Its construction was the result of the creation of the Clallam County Hospital District #1 in 1947, and it came to fruition with the opening of a hospital on November 5, 1952, but it wasn?t until 1959 that it was officially dubbed Forks Community Hospital, which today is a 15-bed acute care inpatient facility and 20-bed long-term care facility, serving a population of close to 11,500 residents of the western Clallam and Jefferson Counties. At Forks Community Hospital, the values of teamwork, personalized care, dedication, compassion, respect, innovation and creativity are paramount. Currently, over 200 people make up the staff of the hospital, as well as a group of deeply committed volunteers.
Forks Community Hospital offers the services of Emergencies, Community Health, Telehealth (allowing patients to be evaluated and treated outside of the hospital?s grounds), Dietary, Radiology, Surgery, Family Birthing Center, Pharmacy, Clinical Laboratory, Nursing Care, Social Services and Physical Rehabilitation.
