Sutter Lakeside Hospital was established in 1945 as a 30-bed private center named Lakeside Community Hospital. The health center was given to the region in 1966 and a not-for-profit association was created. In 1992 the health center associated with Sutter Health and altered its name to Sutter Lakeside Hospital. Providing services to patients of Lake County, Sutter Lakeside Hospital has 69 accredited beds and is licensed by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
