Our hospital exists today for one
reason...the community we serve. Since 1896 we have been providing progressive
health care and personal attention to
the residents of Temple
and surrounding communities. You see us in your neighborhood, the grocery store
and at the ball field. We?re your friends and family.
We take pride in offering you quality
medical care and state-of-the-art technology
provided with a compassionate, healing
touch.
Since being founded in 1896 by a
local chapter of the International Order of the King?s Daughters and Sons,
King?s DaughtersHospital has been caring for our
community. What began as an act of kindness by a nondenominational group of
women is now, 109 years later, a community hospital. We are an independent,
not-for-profit hospital licensed for 150 beds and accredited by the Joint
Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations.
King?s DaughtersHospital
has an annual average of 800 births, approximately 35,000 outpatient visits and
4,000 inpatients. Our employees number close to 400. Our medical staff consists
of 100 physicians representing 30 specialties.
