In 1995, Mother Frances Hospital and The Trinity Clinic joined forces to form Trinity Mother Frances Health System. This innovative system for the delivery of health care to generations to come unites two trusted health care providers that can serve the community through expanded service and value. The roots of these two institutions in east Texas run extremely deep, when Trinity Mother Frances Health System began to prepare for the future, the foundation of both of these health care providers was in place; both have rich histories full of strength and tenacity; in fact, The Trinity Clinic and Mother Frances Hospital opened in the same decade.
Over the years, Mother Frances Hospital has changed; it began as a 60 bed hospital and today it is a 350 bed hospital. In 1989, the significant advancements of this hospital in the areas of community service, employee relations and business management earned them the "Texas Business of the Year" recognition. The excellence of Mother Frances Hospital in areas such as cancer, orthopaedic services, pediatrics, Level II trauma, emergency care, maternity care and hearts is also recognized. The regional primary care clinics of this hospital provide increased access to medical care for rural communities.
