Founded in 1973 by a group of physicians and located in Houston Texas the Houston Northwest Medical Center offers a medical staff of 600 members who provide several inpatient, outpatient and diagnosing imaging services. Some of these services are neonatal intensive care unit, cardiovascular, breast center, cath lab, obstetrics, pediatric surgery, rehabilitative and urology. All the services have the most modern equipment such as a wide number of professionals oriented to meet the needs of each and every patient.
For instance, the Heart Center of Houston Northwest Medical Center is supported by more than 40 cardiologists and services in diagnostic imaging, nuclear stress testing, digital catheterization labs, open heart surgery and cardiac rehabilitation, the Women?s Atrium that offers services from digital mammography to fitness and educational services. Additionally, there is the Sleep Disorders Center that realizes overnight studies and provides consultation for sleep disorders such as insomnia, sleep apnea or narcolepsy.
The Houston Northwest Medical Center is dedicated to educate and to promote wellness in the community in different topics related to the health, continuously offering seminars and screenings about cardiac care, cancer, diabetes, and woman?s health.
