The Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center is part of the Hillcrest Health System. The center offers care facilities and services in the community of Waco, Texas and it was founded in 1920 to provide quality and compassionate health care to its community.
The hospital includes a Level II Trauma Center, in which critically injured trauma victims will receive the attention they need in moments when seconds count. The Hillcrest Family Health Center, has a network of family medicine clinics with more than 30 specialties, and the Key Services in occupational medicine, weight loss, sleep disorders, home care, women's health, outpatient rehabilitation and a wellness program all these programs are made to promote the health and well being of the residents of Central Texas.
To satisfy all the needs of the community, the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center has a department of Cancer Services that provides high quality care for cancer patients in a Christian environment and with the latest radiation therapy machines. This department has been serving patients for more than 20 years and in 1993 it became the Hillcrest Center for Oncology and the Breast Screening Center and the Inpatient Oncology Unit are located within.
