Millwood Hospital: Where Your Problems Disappear

Nursing Jobs By State

Millwood Hospital is a 120-bed licensed facility that along with the Excel Center provides mental health and chemical dependency care. Millwood Hospital began this work in 1971 and since then, people of all ages rely on its extensive and confidential services as a means to overcome chemical and/or emotional dependency problems that impact loved ones, families and individuals. The hospital has the goal of helping individuals deal with their problems efficiently and that is why it offers Specialized Care for Special People. The process that Millwood Hospital carries out is known as "Rapid Assessment/Rapid Intake"; it distinguishes this hospital from the rest. Unlike other hospitals, at Millwood, help will begin just hours after you contact them, not days or weeks later. This help begins with an uncharged assessment by a qualified mental health professional.

The continuum of care of Millwood Hospital offers services for every situation. These are: Child and Adolescent Services, Adult Services, Geriatric Services and Specialized Care. The Child and Adolescent Services include Mental Health, Dual Diagnosis, Inpatient Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, Medication Management and Aftercare, among others. Some of the Adult Services are: Mental Health, Dual Diagnosis, Crisis Stabilization, Detox, Rehab, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Referral. The Geriatric Services offered by Millwood Hospital encompass Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, Crisis Stabilization, Partial Day Hospitalization and Aftercare, among others. The Specialized Care in Millwood Hospital includes Aftercare, Outpatient Referral, Medication Management, Partial Day Hospitalization, Rehab, Detox, Crisis Stabilization, Dual Diagnosis, Faith-Based and Pride Institute.
