Childress Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is a full service rural health care facility operated by a county hospital district, governed by an elected board of directors and licensed by the Texas Department of Health. CRMC is a 54-year member of the Texas Department of Health and a charter member of Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of health care organizations. It is located in Childress, the County Seat of Childress County, and was established in 1876. The current facility has been in operation since 1970 and is the third largest employer in Childress County.
