Oliver started the construction of the original building, known as ?Bryan Hospital?; it had the capacity of 25 beds; however, in 1935 The Sisters of St. Francis assumed the responsibility of managing the hospital. One year later it was renamed as the ?St. Joseph Hospital? since that moment the hospital started to grow and to improve their equipments and building through the pass of the years.
