New Hanover Health Network

Nursing Jobs By State

New Hanover Health Network is a public health care system that serves northeastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina. This not-for-profit network is comprised of  three teaching hospitals and a regional referral center, and is committed to providing a broad range of health care services, such as heart disease treatment, imaging and x-ray, orthopedic, emergencies and level II trauma, pulmonary treatment, women?s health, children?s health, behavioral treatment, rehabilitation programs, and cancer care.

The health care centers, hospitals and services that form New Hanover Health Network have long traditions in Southeastern North Carolina, providing superior care for many generations of families to children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The three hospitals that comprise New Hanover Health Network are: New Hanover Regional Medical Center (located in Wilmington), Cape Fear Hospital (also in Wilmington), and Pender Memorial Hospital (located in Burgaw).

Because New Hanover Health Network is a public, not-for-profit institution, it provides health care to anyone who needs it, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or ability to pay. The three hospitals of the network provide over 30 million dollars in health care to those who would not otherwise benefit from medical services each year. With a staff of over 4,700 employees, 490 physicians, and 760 volunteers, this network is the ninth largest health care system in North Carolina.
