Heritage Enterprises started its operations in 1963. At those times the company started with only a nursing home but today the corporation is responsible of the managing and development of 34 communities. Since the date of its foundation the Heritage Enterprises have been recognized for the excellent quality in their healthcare services. The company started when in 1960 Bill Froelich (who was an operator of ambulance service and funeral director) saw the need of nursing homes which offered excellent health care services and the other requirements of the occupants of them.
Bill had already watched several facilities which were regularly made over homes that operated as nursing houses. He decided to present the idea of building a nursing home to his brother in law, Thomas Jefferson. After that Bill and Thomas were joined by Craig Hart (who was the president of the Champion Federal Savings and Loan). In 1963 the first nursing home of Heritage Enterprises was built and it became as the first complete service nursing house in the city of Bloomington, IL.
Today the main offices of the Heritage Enterprises are still located in the same city and are now focused in a diversity of health care and residential services for senior citizens. Some of the services that the 34 facilities of the company provide are: sheltered care, respite care, intermediated and skilled nursing care, therapy and institutional pharmacy, as well as Alzheimer's care, rehabilitative therapy and hospice care among others. If you or someone that you know is looking for an excellent health care services facility, in Heritage Enterprises they will be pleased to receive you.
